Four Roses Single Barrel
Bottled from a single barrel of the OBSV recipe, one of ten combinations Four Roses produces, this expression is hand-selected for its character and bottled at 100 proof. The result is a rich, complex bourbon of ripe fruit, creamy vanilla, and gentle spice. Ripe plum, dark Morello cherry, bitter cocoa, caramel, and light baking spice fill the nose with a whisper of clove; the palate is full-bodied with ripe plum, spice, maple, and creamy vanilla, and a long, smooth, fruity finish carries plum and cherry beneath mellow rye spice. Produced by Four Roses in the United States at 50% ABV, it retails around $40 to $55.
