Der Prozess des Zusammenführens von Whiskey aus mehreren Fässern, um ein gleichbleibendes Geschmacksprofil zu schaffen, auch Vermählen genannt. Bei Blended Malt Scotch bezeichnet das Vatting speziell das Zusammenführen von Single Malts unterschiedlicher Brennereien.
