Single Malt

Scotch Whisky, der vollständig aus gemälzter Gerste in einer einzigen Brennerei mittels Pot Stills destilliert wird. Der Begriff 'Single' bezieht sich auf eine Brennerei, nicht auf ein Fass. Single Malt Scotch muss mindestens drei Jahre in Schottland reifen.
