Zuckerkulör, ein Lebensmittelfarbstoff, der bei Scotch Whisky und vielen anderen Whiskys zur Sicherung einer konsistenten Farbe von Charge zu Charge zugelassen ist. Obwohl in den meisten Ländern legal, ist seine Verwendung umstritten und darf den Geschmack nicht beeinflussen. Manche Brenner betonen stolz 'ohne Farbstoffzusatz.'
