Destillation

Der Prozess des Erhitzens einer vergorenen Flüssigkeit, um Alkohol aufgrund unterschiedlicher Siedepunkte vom Wasser zu trennen. Whiskey wird üblicherweise zwei- oder dreimal in kupfernen Pot Stills oder Column Stills destilliert, um Alkohol und Aromastoffe zu konzentrieren.
