Bulleit Bourbon
Built on a high-rye mashbill, Bulleit Bourbon carries a bolder, spicier character than typical bourbons. Sourced from Kentucky distilleries including Four Roses, it became one of the fastest-growing bourbon brands within the craft-cocktail movement. Warm vanilla, aged oak, butterscotch, dried apricot, and lively rye spice fill the nose over a cedar undertone; the palate is smooth with toffee, maple, gentle spice, oak, and light fruit, closing on a medium-long, dry, spicy finish of assertive rye heat, charred-oak tannins, and light peppery warmth. Bottled at 45% ABV and produced in the United States, it retails around $25 to $35 and is frequently chosen as a mixing bourbon for its pronounced spice.
