Lowland

The Lowland region encompasses the southern portion of Scotland below an imaginary line between the Clyde and Tay estuaries. Lowland malts are traditionally lighter, gentler, and more floral than their Highland and Islay counterparts, often triple-distilled for extra smoothness.
